In Europe and North America, the hind leg of a rabbit has long been popular as a good luck charm.
It is very retro charming as a key ring.
Some motorcycle jackets from the 1950s, such as Montgomery Ward's, had them attached to the pockets or front zipper, probably as a traffic safety charm.
