It is made from high grade top grain vegetable tanned cowhide bend saddle leather, what is tanned by traditional tanner in western Japan. the bend leather is the part that is removed belly and butt and has high density of fiber and strength in the cowhide. The slice and back of leather is polished carefully. Top of the leather will be glowed and given the patina with your aging.
